STRUCTURE/HABITAT

  • Locate trout in flowing water by searching for deeper currents and pools

PATTERNS

SPRING

  • Great time of year for trout as the water warms and more food sources are available. Fish are becoming more active preparing for spawning and found in shallower locations.

SUMMER

  • Warmer waters send the fish deeper, try locating deep pools and cooler waters.

FALL

  • Will be searching for food similar to spring patterns preparing for the cooler winter.

WINTER

  • Winter-Trout will be deeper and slower moving. feeding less agressive.

  • Nightcrawlers, Red Worms, Mealworms, Minnows, Salmon Eggs
