Sea Bass can be found in the Mid Atlantic region of the US waters in the Atlantic Ocean and coastal bays and estuaries. They are typically found in inshore waters and are known to migrate short distances.
STRUCTURE/HABITAT
Sea Bass are bottom-dwelling fish that can be found near natural structures such as reefs, wrecks, and jetties.
They are also known to congregate around man-made structures such as artificial reefs and bridge pilings.
Found in waters from the surf zone to depths of around 150 feet. ​

Migrate northwards from their wintering grounds.
SUMMER
Typically found in the Mid Atlantic region of the US waters as the waters are at their warmest and the fish are abundant.
